About Get It Right

Get It Right is a visionary project aimed at effecting direct change in our society by providing sustainable solutions for today’s youths and children. Born out of a commitment to create a better future for Africa’s children, the project focuses on establishing a strong foundation for children, providing training for teenagers, and creating job opportunities for youths through a youth-led economic system.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build a brighter future by empowering youths and nurturing the potential of today’s children. Through strategic initiatives and collaborations, we seek to address the challenges faced by young people and create opportunities for growth, development, and prosperity.

Key Objectives

  • Empowerment: To empower youths by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and opportunities to succeed.
  • Education: To promote education and skills development among teenagers, preparing them for a successful future.
  • Employment: To create sustainable job opportunities for youths, fostering economic independence and growth.
  • Welfare: To ensure the welfare and security of children, safeguarding their rights and well-being.

How We Work

Our Projection

As part of our ambitious goals for the Get It Right project, we aim to have a functioning administrative sector of the economic system by the end of the year, with 5 million naira in state capital. This milestone will mark a significant step towards our vision of creating sustainable solutions for today’s youths and children, and we are committed to achieving it through strategic planning and implementation.

Join us on this journey to Get It Right for our future and tomorrow’s people.

The process: Getting it Right

One year after the endorsement of the Office of Tomorrow People and the Ambassador at the inaugural Ruth8 dinner night in 2021, we are focusing on sustainable and tangible ways to effect direct change by providing welfare and security for both present youths and today’s children. I, Blacc theddi, proposed the project “GET IT RIGHT” as a means to establish a strong foundation for children, provide training for teenagers, and create jobs for youths through a youth-run economic system established for this purpose.

Last year, we reached out to some of you for your opinions and suggestions. Along the way, we met wonderful, brilliant youths who are eager to get it right. Through our social media and blog posts, we highlighted all the possible problems such a system could solve. Based on the responses, we fine-tuned the project and are now ready to set it in motion.

As we move into the second stage of the #getitright project, which is to get the movement in motion, I urge you to join me so that together we can begin to get it right for our future and for tomorrow’s people. But before that, here are some key points about the project:

The project was initiated for the Tomorrow People as a measure to create a better environment for African children to grow and develop.
It was commissioned under Queen Ifeh, the Tomorrow People Ambassador 2021/2024.

The Get It Right project aims to establish an economic center and system to:

  • Provide jobs for youths who want to work and earn.
  • Offer training and experience for teenagers.
  • Provide welfare and security for children.

To properly set this project in motion, it’s time to create a Round table for the youths, starting with a team of youths who will lead this project forward.

Getting It Right: The Journey of Tomorrow’s People in Anambra

As we prepare to launch the “Get It Right” project in Anambra, our mission to create a better future begins with assembling a dedicated team of individuals who share our vision. BlaccTheddi and Queen Ifeh, as leaders of this initiative, will soon announce the process for interested individuals to join them as Tomorrow’s People. Through a transparent and inclusive selection process, approved by the community, we will form a round table of Tomorrow’s People to guide our mission forward.

Our next significant step involves registering a business in the name of Tomorrow’s People, a symbol of our unwavering commitment to our cause. This business will serve as the cornerstone for building an economic system that empowers our youth and benefits our children. With capital earmarked for this purpose, our aim is to establish a solid foundation for sustainable growth and development.

To ensure seamless integration with the local community, we plan to engage with the Anambra local government. This partnership will be pivotal in navigating regulations and establishing the necessary framework for our operations. By collaborating with local authorities, we can leverage their expertise and resources to maximize our impact and reach.

Throughout our journey, transparency and accountability will guide our actions. We are committed to keeping our stakeholders informed and involved at every stage, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in our collective achievements.

Together, as Tomorrow’s People, we are poised to make a meaningful difference in Anambra and beyond. Our journey is just beginning, and we invite you to join us in this noble endeavor as we strive to “Get It Right” for our future generations.

Please note that the selection process for Tomorrow’s People will be announced in due course, ensuring a fair and inclusive representation of our community’s aspirations.

Stay tuned for updates on our progress as we work towards our mission of Getting It Right! (Last Updated: [Jan 23 2023])
