Love is in the air, and Anambra is set to host a memorable Valentine’s Day celebration with a soulful musical experience featuring Nigeria’s very own Highlife band, The Cavemen! On Wednesday, February 14th, starting at 7:00 PM, Reboot Luxury Place in Awka, Anambra State, will come alive with the enchanting melodies and rhythmic beats of The Cavemen at ‘Love in the Cave.’

The Cavemen, consisting of Kingsley Okorie on bass and Benjamin James on drums, have carved a niche for themselves in the music industry with their unique blend of traditional Highlife music infused with a modern twist. Discovered by Lady Donli, they are known for their captivating live performances and innovative approach to music.

Their second album, “Love and Highlife,” has received acclaim for its innovative yet conservative approach to recreating Highlife music. The album seamlessly blends drums, trumpets, piano, and other musical instruments to create a sound that stays true to the essence of Highlife. The Cavemen’s music focuses on themes of love and philosophy, steering clear of materialistic topics and instead embracing a purist quality that resonates with listeners.

At ‘Love in the Cave,’ couples can choose between regular and VIP tickets, priced at 20,000 Naira and 50,000 Naira respectively. The event will also feature performances by HypeMan Oro Slymshady, as well as DJs Jerry, Ozone, Boiz, Solace, and Blaq Du Sumpapi. Hosted by Prince Neche and MC Feargod, this promises to be a night filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable music.
