Correction: UAE Visa Ban on Nigerian Travelers Not Yet Lifted

The Federal Government of Nigeria has clarified that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is yet to lift the visa ban imposed on Nigerian travelers. This update comes after earlier reports suggested that the ban had been lifted following discussions between President Bola Tinubu and President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, refuted the viral reports, stating, “UAE has not resumed visa issuance to Nigerians. The document in circulation is not authorized either by the Nigerian government or the UAE.”

In light of this clarification, we apologize for any confusion caused by our earlier report and have updated this post to reflect the correct information.
